Credentialing Programs Designed to Meet​ the Needs of Modern Educators​

Overview

The Educator Prepar​ation Programs (EPP) offers credential programs accredited by the California Commision on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)​ and several specializations in the following areas:

1. Education Specialist P​reliminary Teaching Credential - Intern Pathway 
   • Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN): Prepares educators​ to support students with mild to moderate needs in core subjects through personalized instruction.​
   • Extensive Support Needs (ESN)​: ​Focuses on ​providing​ intensive, individualized support for students with extensive needs.
   • Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)​:  Supports young children (birth to kindergarten) with various developmental needs.
2. Education Specialist Accelerated Program​ - for already credentialed teachers who want to add an additional credential to their portfolio.
   • Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN)
