Classified Grant Scholarship Application 2026-2027 - EPP Returning Applicants

The SCCOE Educator Preparation Programs' Classified School Employee to Teacher Credentialing Grant Program offers you $4,000 per year (subject to available funding) to support classified school employees in earning a preliminary teaching credential.

Scholarship funds may be used to obtain your first preliminary teaching credential in one of the following areas, with or without a Bilingual Authorization:

• Special Education (MMSN, ESN, ECSE)
• Multiple Subject
• Single Subject (Math or Science)
• PK3

Eligibility

To be eligible for the 2026–2027 Classified Grant Cycle Funding, you must have previously applied for and received at least one annual scholarship, be pursuing your teacher credential through SCCOE Educator Preparation Programs, and be making progress toward completing your credential program.

Application Process

• Complete all required documents
• Upload completed documents
• Submit your application.
• Allow up to 4 weeks for application review.
• If approved, the award process will begin and may take up to 20 weeks to complete.

Required Documents

1. Completed Completion Plan — Fillable Google Doc or Downloadable PDF
2. Signed W-9 Form (page 1 - fill out all fields, sign, date, and upload)

*Applicants must demonstrate progress toward completing their chosen program to be eligible for grant fund disbursement.

Important!
Each document must be uploaded individually in PDF (preferably), JPEG or PNG format. Applications with missing documents will not be approved. W-9 Form must be signed “by hand.”
