Submit all application documents through the application portal unless instructed otherwise; do not drop them off at our office or email them.

To avoid delays in application acceptance, please click on the active links to review and confirm that all requirements are met before submitting your application.

Mandatory requirement for acceptance into program

  • B/A or B/S-Official Transcript
  • Letter of Intent. Please use this template here
  • Letter of recommendation-Supervisor
  • CBEST Exam- requirement can be met by submitting an exam with passing scores or applicant can meet the basic skills requirement per TK-12 Education Trailer Bill (AB 130). More information can be found on the Guidance Chart for Mixing BSR options. Please scroll to the bottom of this linked page if trying to meet this requirement through coursework.
  • US Constitution Course or Exam- Requirement will be evaluated through student transcripts. If this requirement needs to be met, applicants will be notified.
  • Subject Matter Requirement- Can be met by completion of a baccalaureate degree or higher in one of following academic degree majors 1) Liberal Studies 2) Liberal Arts 3) Elementary Education. Complete details can be found here
