Special Education Teacher Credential Candidates

Request an Intern Eligibility/Appeasement Letter

For enrolled SPED teaching candidates only

In order to request a letter, please make sure you have met the following requirements

  1. You have completed the required coursework for your specialization in the fall and early part of the spring semester.
  2. If you belong to the spring cohort, you may have to wait until the end of May to request your intern eligibility letters in order to satisfy the course requirements.
  3. You will need to upload documents into your student account.
    1. To upload documents, log into your student portal at EPPSCHOLAR.SCCOE.ORG
    2. On the left hand side of the page, select MY FILES
    3. In MY FILES, upload requested documents as instructed below
  4. These are the documents you will have to upload:

a. CBEST (If you have met this with coursework, your BSR will be submitted by us)

b. CSET (ECSE exempt)

c. CPR/First Aid

d. U.S. Constitution (exam or coursework)

*AP candidates need only submit proof of CPR/First Aid.

** CSET met through degree majors don’t need to upload anything for CSET

  1. If you have cleared CBEST and/or CSET, you need to upload the proof on your account on EPPSCHOLAR.SCCOE.ORG.

All requests for intern eligibility letter recommendations should be made through the eppscholar website. Please note that you may request the intern eligibility letters prior to March 15, but they will be issued only after March 15 in the order they are received and per approved eligibility.
