Course Description

Candidates will be provided with the “Will and Skill” to learn evidence-based methodologies to becoming an effective instructional equity leader in pre-k to 12 schools. Grounded in best practices in adult learning theory and effective instructional leadership, the candidates will engage in experiential learning to gain hands-on practice of supporting leadership and instructional practices with teachers. Coupled with Equity principles, the course will provide course content and administrator’s standards (CAPEs and CACES) to ensure Equity is the foundation of becoming an instructional leader in schools.

The course section ARUSD 633-MON only open to candidates enrolled in the Alum Rock Unified School District (ARUSD) PASC program. If you have been accepted into this specific program and are unable to enroll, please contact an advisor at (408) 453-6740 or email at epp@sccoe.org. Otherwise, all other enrolled candidates in our PASC program may enroll in one of the other section options available.
