Course Description

Spring Cohort EDA 633 Instructional Leadership

Candidates will be provided with the “Will and Skill” to learn evidence-based methodologies to becoming an effective instructional
equity leader in pre-k to 12 schools. Grounded in best practices in adult learning theory and effective instructional leadership, the
candidates will engage in experiential learning to gain hands-on practice of supporting leadership and instructional practices with
teachers. Coupled with Equity principles, the course will provide course content and administrator’s standards (CAPEs and
CACES) to ensure Equity is the foundation of becoming an instructional leader in schools.
