The PASC program is an 11-month program instructed by current and former school superintendents, administrators, and prominent educational leaders. Equity principled leadership is embedded in all coursework and fieldwork environments.
The PASC program is an 11-month comprehensive training pathway, led by current and former school superintendents, administrators, and distinguished educational leaders. The program emphasizes equity-principled leadership, which is deeply integrated into all coursework and fieldwork experiences. The PASC curriculum is aligned with the California Administrative Professional Expectations (CAPEs) and the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSELs). Our instructors stay connected to current leadership practices through continuous training and direct involvement in local schools and districts, ensuring that participants receive up-to-date and relevant guidance. As part of the program, candidates must complete the California Administrator Performance Assessment (CalAPA), which is a requirement for earning the credential. The CalAPA consists of three leadership cycles designed to assess participants’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in key areas of educational leadership, including analyzing data, supporting teacher development, and implementing school improvement initiatives. Each cycle integrates real-world experiences that participants encounter during their fieldwork, offering hands-on application of leadership strategies. Upon successful completion of the PASC program and all CalAPA requirements, participants will be eligible to apply for their Preliminary Administrative Services Credential or a Certificate of Eligibility.
Program cost $8000, with a $500 deposit. Application fee is $75. Additional cost may include books, CTC fees, and other service charges.
